I would like to welcome everyone to my blog for Geography 310, Digital Cartography.
The
United States Geological Survey was added to my links list because they are major producer of maps in the US and offer great job opportunies.
The
Library of Congress Map Collection is a great source of historical maps and records. These are great for study of past conditions and ways of thought about maps and mapping. My favorite part is doing a dearch for treasure maps, since they have a good sized collection of them.
I added the
National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency because of the job that they do. They create maps for the national military and national defense, which includes aquiring and analyzing aerial and satellite remote sensing data.
